Another recent project by REX (together with magnusson kemencic assoc. and situ studio)is the 'doll house' for the calvin klein collection store on madison avenue, new york. the design spans 4 complete floors, including a landscaped urban rooftop, and is fabricated in steel, acrylic sheet, and four-way stretch spandex. the structure seemingly floats high above a new york city streetfrom four steel suspension hangers. each floor is decorated with miniature replicas of calvin kleinpieces from clothing through to home furnishings. the 'doll house' will be on show until january 5 2009.
